Automatos (by Jerod Sommerfeldt)-Source material for this 10-minute piece was created from a self-improvisatory Pd instrument that uses various DSP processes and analyzes it's own audio output, using that data to trigger new events.

A test track generating subsonic basslines. Still has to much high frequency content. Was done with a anti-aliased phasor going into a moog~-filter and a LADSPA compressor (SC1 by Steve Harris). Then play with the settings for about 8 minutes. ;)

variation.ogg was done to be played live at Orm Finnendahl's birthday party 2003 but then I didn't make it to Berlin and so it still hasn't been performed live. It's a real party rocker IMO in a distorted dubby disco style. Friends later told me, that the music performed on Orm's party was actually more of the serious kind. "Variation" probably would have made quite an impression... ^_^ Yours, fbar
